The design and finish are very good. All the parts fit together precisely, and when the screws were tightened it was straight. One shelf had to be replaced due to one of the slats being bowed, but the manufacturer did so quickly with no hassle.

Although I just love this rack, and it was super easy to assemble, I did it in about 30 mins. The color is not black. It is more like a dark grey. So if black is what you are looking for, you will be disappointed. Other than that, it is very sturdy, it was well packaged, and all the parts required were there.

The Celtic Baker's Rack was well constructed and relatively easy to put together. The biggest difficulty I had in assembling it was trying to get the upper and lower backs to fit together. One side was just a bit too big to fit easily. Finally I was forced to pound on of the pieces, using a mallet and protecting the finish, and voila, it went together. I'm using it as a book rack in my tiny sunroom. It fits perfectly there. It is unobtrusive. I'm sure it would also be very hand in a pantry or small kitchen. I paid a little extra for shipping and it arrived at the promised time.
