This bakers rack is really functional for my kitchen. I was able to store my dishes, flatware, glasses and other various items. By doing this I was able to open up valuable cabinet space in my kitchen. The style and design are very attractive.

I was very excited to receive this piece of of furniture and put it together. It was easy to assemble, however it seems it was a little too easy for the manufacturer to assemble as well. The nails holding some of the pre assembled pieces (on the front no less) were not even nailed in all the way. One of the doors was not holding the glass inlay properly- it was popped out by at least half an inch and the was even NAILED in this way by the person who assembled it at the factory. When they nailed it in it was barely into the edge of the wood- it was cracked and breaking off. We were barely able to correct this and were worried it would break the glass as it appears to have been cut the wrong size and forced in. Also one of the wine racks secured on the shelf is visibly crooked compared to the other rows. At the top of the hutch is the hanging glass holder and two of the rows are blocked by the curving of the wood design and i am unable to hang glasses from 2 of the 5 rows!!!! I realize this may be one of the lower end racks/hutches however when paying that much for something i expect it to have better craftmanship. I will never order anything from this site again.

The piece arrived nicely packed (no assembly required,which was great!). However, the shelf on the storage side was installed crooked; it is not an adjustable shelf. Can still hold my wine glasses but the defect is obvious even with the door closed. The stain color is darker than the on-line picture, more like a deep cherry stain (which is lovely but doesn't match my dining set). The two back legs have areas that are not completely stained and are also splintered; this is not visible looking at the unit from the front. We did not want to return the unit as we had taken the box apart before we noted the defective shelf and the logistics of returning such a heavy piece were not appealing. Company was great about issuing a discount on the item. Despite above, the piece is attractive overall and serves the purpose well. If possible, would advise if you order this item to have delivery service wait while you completely inspect unit out of the box so if defective, they can just take it back.

This is a lovely piece, and looks exactly like the photo, except possibly darker. But assembly was no fun -- and I'm a veteran of furniture assembly! The bottom piece is fully assembled, but the top comes as 2 sides, 2 shelves, 3 pieces for the back, and the top. The problem is that the shelves and sides have slots into which the pieces of the back, and ultimately the top, have to be slid -- and of course, everything doesn't line up exactly! I finally managed by leaving the bolts VERY loose, using a mallet -- and in one case, digging out part of the slot with a knife! But it wasn't easy! However, I must say the finally assembled piece is very sturdy, and as I said, beautiful!

Unit was delivered without hardware to assemble hutch. Called Hayneedle to be told i should try to find screws locally and be reimbursed.Screws not stocked by any retailers i area and had to be special ordered. Wine rack portion of unit was not even rendering two of the store units too big for wine bottle.Hutch portion for wine glasses only holds white wine glasses as red wine glasses the base is too big. The two slots on eithr end hold nothing as the trim covers a portion not allowing any glass to be stored.All considered still a nice piece for the price.

Only two of the slots for Wine glass will fit regular size stemware, one will fit small Champagne glasses. The directions neglected to show where one of the pieces go.I usually can put things together but had to hire someone to put this together as he had to whittle down some of the wood pieces so they would fit.It took him almost 2 hours to assemble. Also I had to buy 10 additional screws(at the cost of a additional $10.) as they were missing from the hardware enclosed.The wood had some damage but I will touch that up. I would not recommend this.
