Bakers rack
Wood, metal, and a timeless rustic design combine to create the stylish and spacious Townsend Bakers Rack. There are six shelves to keep your dishes, pots and pans, cookbooks, and other kitchen essentials neatly organized and easily accessible. A wood center surface provides a handy counter that doubles as a work area for meal prep, or serving drinks and appetizers at dinner parties. A rich, multi-step finish gives the fir wood a warm, rustic look, and the wood is distressed for added charm and visual interest. The strong metal frame features a rustic-bronze finish, making this versatile piece a smart storage solution, as well as an eye-catching addition to a kitchen or dining room. Two middle top and bottom shelves are adjustable. Counter height is 33.5 inches off floor. But you won't find it just anywhere: the Townsend Collection is a Hayneedle exclusive.

Wife wanted this to hold all her electric appliances. For the price it is a nice rack. Assembly instructions are very weak, not that it needs much but the upper section has a top and a bottom direction.
which if you are not careful you will have to disassemble and reassemble like I did. The upper shelves are not well stained you can see the smudges on the front lip where they completely missed with the stain.
This is a detractor as you can clearly see it since this piece is over 6' and visible when you look at it.

Comments about Townsend Bakers Rack:
I was looking for something to provide additional kitchen storage. Most baking racks seemed to be for primarily asthetic purposes and weren't going to work for me. This one is great. It's sturdy enough to hold all the small appliances that I own along with some pantry items. It also looks great in my somewhat eclectic, country-style kitchen. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. I will say that it has a very strong chemical smell when you unpack it that hasn't completely dissipated in the days since it's been up. That is a minor nuisance, though.

Comments about Townsend Bakers Rack:
This arrived in 2 days and took me under a half an hour to assemble on my own. It looks just like the photo and the wood does not look cheap etc, it actually matches very well to a table I got from potteryba... The metal supports were slightly bent and I figured once I assembled it it would straighten out, but the unit looked slightly slanted once I put it up. After i placed items on it, it seemed to balance out. The main issue I have is that I think the wood must have been treated because it has an awful chemically smell to it. It smelles like pine sol gone bad. This is day 3 and it still smelled but seems to be slowing fading a bit. I hope the smell faded soon.
