Was not pleased for it came very dark expresso, called and was told that was all they had ever had in stock. Pictures were misleading! Does not match decor well...however the rack is very sturdy and does hold books very well. All shelves are under supported by metal framing. Have no troublt with drawer because the books are heavy enough to hold drawer shelf secure. Would recommend to anyione who wants dark wood decor.

oh my gosh.....what can I say--I ordered it on the 3rd of April and on the 4th it arrived--assembly was a breeze- I love it. such a beautiful piece to add to my dining area-it is absolutely georgous!!! I would not hesitate to reccommend hayneedle for purchases--I am blown away. It exceeded my expectations big time-Thank you!!!!!!

Better instructions!
The shelves and draw shelve did not fit correctly and were uneven and not leveled.
Slight damaged to the wood around the edges and corners.
Imperfections in the paint (runs, scratches).

I was expecting more based on some of the previous remarks. It's okay but I would not recommend putting it where it would be used a lot. I don't want to bother returning it so I will keep it and use some stain to fix the poor finish.
