    I bought this to fit beside my desk in a small office to hold books and some files. I am very pleased with it because it is very sturdy (no particleboard) and has a open look. Functional and attractive. I am a carpenter so I know when something is well-built, and this fits the bill. Good value for the price as it is made of solid wood and built to last. Holds about 40 books or files with room to spare for decorative items. Pretty easy to put together. I did it in about 10 minutes.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I puchased one to see if was what I needed and to see if was of a decent quality. It was, so I ordered a second one. The first unit was not properly drilled so I had to drill two new holes to get the unit assembled. The second unit came with a mixed up shelf. It was supposed to be a screw in type with four small holes. It came with four wide holes large enough for the pegs. Waiting for new shelf to be sent.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
